Printing Guide & Operation Tips
1
Level the Bed
Before printing, use a sheet of paper to determine the distance between nozzle and bed at several points across the bed. Or install a bed-leveling sensor to automate the process.
2
Set Ideal Temperature
Different materials and environments affect ideal temperatures. Too high leads to stringing; too low prevents bed adhesion or causes warping. Adjust per instructions or contact support.
3
Clean or Change Nozzle
Cleaning with cleaning filament or changing the nozzle before printing is an effective way to reduce jams.
4
Store Filament Properly
Use the vacuum package or a dedicated dry box to keep the filament dry when not in use.
Troubleshooting: Why doesn't the filament stick to the build bed easily?
  • Temperature: Please check the temperature (bed and nozzle) settings before printing and adjust to a suitable level.
  • Leveling: Please check if the bed is level; make sure the nozzle is neither too far nor too close to the bed.
  • Speed: Please check if the printing speed of the first layer is too fast.
Clog-Free & Bubble-Free Designed and manufactured to guarantee a smooth and stable printing experience with these PLA refills. Complete drying for 24 hours before packaging and vacuum sealed with desiccants in a PE bag.
Tangle Free & Moisture Free TORWELL Red PLA filament 1.75mm is carefully winded to avoid tangling issues. It is dried and vacuum-sealed in a PE bag with desiccant. Please pass the filament through the fixed hole to avoid tangles after use.
Cost-Effective & Wide Compatibility With over 11 years' 3D filaments R&D experience and thousands of tons output every month, TORWELL manufactures all kinds of filaments on a large scale with premium quality, making 3D filaments cost-effective and reliable for most common 3D printers such as MK3, Ender 3, Monoprice, FlashForge, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What raw material is used for Torwell PLA Filament?

Torwell PLA filament is manufactured using high-quality standard raw materials: NatureWorks 4032D and Total-Corbion LX575.

Which 3D printers are compatible with Torwell PLA filament?

It is compatible with almost all standard FDM 3D printers, including Makerbot, UP, Felix, Reprap, Ultimaker, Ender 3, Creality3D, Raise3D, Prusa i3, Zortrax, XYZ Printing, Omni3D, Snapmaker, BIQU3D, BCN3D, MK3, AnkerMaker, and more.

What are the recommended drying settings for this filament?

The recommended drying setting is 55˚C for 6 hours. It should be kept in a dry and ventilated environment or inside a vacuum bag/dry box with desiccants.

How do I prevent tangles and filament jams?

To avoid tangles, always pass the end of the filament through the fixed holes on the spool after use. Cleaning or changing the nozzle before printing also helps reduce clogging.

What should I do if the filament does not stick to the build bed?

Check that nozzle and bed temperatures are set correctly, verify that the print bed is level (ensure the nozzle is neither too far nor too close), and ensure the first layer speed is not set too fast.

Can I order customized colors or custom packaging?

Yes, custom PMS colors are accepted. Spools can also be packaged in individual Torwell boxes, neutral boxes, or custom-designed boxes.
