Q1: How does Dual Color Coextrusion PLA differ from standard rainbow PLA?
Unlike standard rainbow PLA which transitions colors sequentially along the length of the spool, every single inch of Torwell Dual Color Coextrusion Filament contains two colors simultaneously. This allows dual-color visual effects even on tiny printed models.
Q2: What are the recommended drying settings for this filament?
For optimal 3D printing results, dry the Pearlescent PLA filament at 55˚C for 6 hours in a dry and ventilated environment before printing.
Q3: Which 3D printers are compatible with Torwell PLA filaments?
Torwell PLA filaments are compatible with virtually all standard FDM 3D printers on the market, including Makerbot, Creality3D (Ender series), Prusa i3, Raise3D, Ultimaker, Snapmaker, AnkerMake, and more.
Q4: What support materials can be used with this PLA?
This Pearlescent PLA material pairs excellently with Torwell HIPS and water-soluble Torwell PVA support materials for printing complex geometry models.
Q5: Can I request customized colors according to Pantone (PMS)?
Yes, in addition to our standard palette of 11 basic colors (White, Black, Red, Blue, Gold, etc.), Torwell accepts custom Pantone Matching System (PMS) color customization.
Q6: What precautions should I take regarding batch color consistency?
Slight color variations can occur between different production batches. It is recommended to order a sufficient quantity of filament from the same batch for multi-part projects to ensure color uniformity.
